Back once again with one of the most popular events of our year with a stellar line up.
Nem is a selecter and singer based in Edinburgh, Scotland. She has been playing events and festivals for 20 years – Edinburgh Dub Club and Kelburn Garden Party are events that she is very much involved with and loves to perform at regularly. Her vinyl sets are a mix of Roots, Dub, Digital, Modern and Old Skool Classics. Nem's first release as a singer, 'Purest Force', was with Mighty Oak Sound System. This lead onto a Mungos Hi-Fi remix and separate releases with Somah on 2 albums on the Scotch Bonnet Records label.
Lady R is an all vinyl selector from Middlesbrough in the north east. She has been playing in Sheffield, Leeds, Manchester and beyond! This year marks her 10th year in sound system, in which she has had the time to refine her eclectic selections and build up her bag of tricks. Her selections span from foundation ska and rocksteady to conscious 70s roots and dub, and she even has an expansive collection of steppa style stompers. Together with the mighty empress Alexis on the mic, these two ladies bring the best northern powerhouse vibes sure to shake the foundations!
Leeds based selecta no.me is a lover of roots, dancehall and hip hop. She'll be spinning a mostly vinyl sunshine selection (optimistic).. with a sprinkling of digital for those contemporary bangers.
