Ptyl vs Demoncast -Live at Music City Starfactory |Industrial Goth Darkwave

PTYL vs DEMONCAST are a San Francisco–based trio blending goth, industrial, and darkwave into a darkly atmospheric sound. Their live shows weave driving electronic rhythms, dual haunting vocals, and evocative guitar textures into an experience that is both visceral and immersive.

The name unites two legacies: Ptyl, a long-running solo project released on Germany’s Danse Macabre Records, and Demoncast, a prior band that was active internationally, releasing both an EP and a full-length album. PTYL vs DEMONCAST is not a reunion, but a new project — reinterpreting earlier material while forging new ground in darkwave and industrial sound.

Influenced by artists such as Nine Inch Nails, Evanescence, David Bowie, and Peter Gabriel, the trio create music that is moody, powerful, and unmistakably their own.

Expect a performance steeped in shadowy atmospheres, haunting melodies, and raw intensity.
