About this Event
Psychgeist is a two day celebration of Vancouver's exuberant, diverse, and ever-expanding psych scene. As the love child between local videography and promotional service East of Main and the free-wheelin psyschedelic minds of local band Silva Dawn, Psychgeist aims to merge music with entertainment, and wants to highlight, celebrate and emphasize the freaky artists, doom musicians, and vibrant experimentalists of East Vancouver.
With local art on display, DJ's, record collections, vendors and visual artists of all sorts, the iconic Wise Hall floor beneath the disco ball will be a market to explore, engage with various vendors and learn a thing or two about the culture that exists below the surface of dead heads, mushrooms, and lava lamps.
On October 5th and 6th, we celebrate this beautiful genre in all its shapes and sizes.
