Join The Medicine Way as we continue our Walking the Medicine Path educational series, exploring the sacred history, cultural significance, and spiritual traditions surrounding Peyote, a revered plant medicine with deep roots among Indigenous peoples of Mexico and North America.

We are honored to welcome Ron Interpreter, who will share his personal journey and relationship with this sacred medicine. Through storytelling, historical perspectives, and visual presentations, Ron will explore the evolution of Peyote traditions from Mexico into the United States, their enduring role in Indigenous spiritual practices, and the ways these traditions have been carried, protected, and honored across generations.

Ron will also share how his personal medicine path has led him to develop meaningful relationships with the Wixárika people of Mexico, offering reflections on cultural preservation, ancestral wisdom, and the responsibilities that come with honoring these sacred traditions.

Together, we will explore:

• The cultural and spiritual history of Peyote
• Indigenous ceremonial traditions and their evolution
• Ron's personal journey and relationship with the medicine
• The changing landscape of Peyote traditions in North America
• The Wixárika people and the importance of cultural preservation
• Reciprocity, conservation, and respect for Indigenous traditions

🌿 Come with curiosity, an open heart, and a willingness to listen and learn.

Whether you're new to learning about sacred plant medicines or seeking a deeper understanding of Indigenous spiritual traditions, we welcome you into this space of education, reflection, and community.
