PSSO Fall Concert ("Fantastique Journey")

Join us on Nov 21st for the opening of a "fantastique" season. Our fall concert features a truly unique work by British composer Mason Bates. It's a modern take on pieces like Peter and the Wolf and Young Person's Guide to the Orchestra, which tour the various sections of the orchestra. Bates throws an interesting twist by adding computer audio samples played over a DJ speaker setup. Also on the program is Brahms' well loved Second Symphony. You won't want to miss it!
Vaughan-Williams – Overture to The Wasps
Bates – Symphonie Fantastique
Brahms – Symphony No. 2
This concert is supported in part by grants from 4Culture and ArtsFund.
