PSO Iowa Capitol Day 2025

Parents School Options is the national voice for parents.

It's more important now than ever for legislators and policymakers to understand the value and need for full-time virtual schooling and school choice in Iowa.

We invite families and students to join us at the State Historical Building in Des Moines this Febuary.

After meeting with your legislators and sharing our stories, we will return to the State Historical Building for a FREE LUNCH and visit the museum.

Tentative Schedule:

• Check-in 10:00-10:30
• PSO introduction & program 10:30- 11:10 AM
• Walk to Capitol Building 11:10-11:20 AM
• Senate/House legislator meetings 11:20–12:20 PM
• Return to State Historical Building 12:20–12:30 PM
• Lunch 12:30 PM
• Tour & visit Museum 12:45-2:00 PM
• Depart 2:00 PM
