Join us at the York Learning Garden to learn about pruning! Pruning is an important part of maintaining shrubs and trees. Proper pruning helps them look good and stay healthy.
You'll learn about:
- What plants can be pruned at this time of year (some should only be pruned in the spring)
- What to look for on the plant to determine where to cut
- How to cut correctly to reduce the likelihood of disease
Bring your own hand pruning tool to get some hands-on practice in the garden!
