Playwrights' Round Table is seeking non-Equity performers for its annual Summer Shorts production of new plays, which will be presented in August at the Orlando Shakespeare Center.
The auditions are June 8th from 7pm to 10pm at Advanced Learning Academy (140 Advance Point, Maitland). Callbacks are June 9th from 7pm to 11pm. Tech/dress are August 19th and 20th. Performances are August 21st-23rd and 28th through 30th. Tech times 6pm-11pm, dress 7pm-11pm, performances 7pm-11pm except Sundays 2pm-5pm - at the Mandell in the Orlando Shakes.
All actors must be available for tech week and all performances. Performers will be cast on multiple roles and receive a $25 stipend for each (i.e., 3 roles = $75). All actors must be 18 or older.

Will Shakespeare -- Upstart, desperate because his new play stinks; M
Famed playwright of note needs ideas for his new play about some obscure Scottish king.
FAIRE by Kaily Anderson-Barr
AGNES -- female, 35+, an actress playing the witch at a Renaissance Faire
KING -- male, 40+, the manager of the Faire who also takes on the role of its king
SQUIRE JUSTIN -- male, any age, an actor playing bit parts at the Faire
At a small Renaissance Faire, the witch trial show goes very off-script.
PAULIE SELLS ALL HIS SH*T by Scott Cooper
PAULIE -- M, 30s.
JU-JU -- M, 30s.
BRICKS -- M, 30s.
Dejected and disgusted by the current political climate, Paulie is selling all his things to move to Ireland. A buddy and a former buddy come to see him off.
