Providing Trauma- and Culturally-Informed Care to the Latinx Community

This training is open to community members, advocates, social workers or counselors, teachers, and other professionals working with the Latinx population. The training will provide an overview of the immigration/asylum/refugee process, the layers of trauma experienced by the Latinx community in their home countries in addition to their journey to the United States, struggles to assimilate, barriers to services, and what it means to provide culturally sensitive and trauma-informed care.
