Can you write a poem or spoken word from the Bible? Join us for a night of Proverbs & Poetry at Westwood Baptist Church, 2510 Albion St! Get ready to be inspired by a one-hour workshop by a professional spoken word poet. Then, enjoy or participate in the open mic night with creative work inspired by biblical scriptures. Whether you're a seasoned poet or love listening to spoken word, this event is perfect for anyone looking for creativity.

This event is a Christian alternative creative space for young adults in Nashville, and everyone is welcome! This event is produced by the Young Adult Collective in partnership with the Stone's River Association. If you want to participate in the open mic, please email [email protected].

THE CHALLENGE

Create a poem or spoken word work inspired by themes or verses from the book of 1 Corinthians chapter 13. Need inspiration? Attend the workshop at 5:30 pm, one hour before the open mic!
