Proud Mary are a Manchester-born rock and blues band whose timeless sound has earned them a loyal following on both sides of the Atlantic. Formed in 1998 by Greg Griffin (vocals) and Paul Newsome (guitar, vocals), the band became the first signing to Noel Gallagher’s Sour Mash label, releasing their acclaimed debut The Same Old Blues in 2001. Blending raw rock energy with soulful, roots-inspired songwriting, Proud Mary have built a reputation as a powerful live act and a band with real heart at its core.
