Prothoma Ppandav Bodhu

The play narrates the untold story of Hidimbi, Bhima’s first wife and the eldest bride of the Pandava clan. A poignant tale of love, motherhood, sacrifice and loneliness, the play explores her struggle against social prejudice and her journey from a forest woman to a warrior mother. Through the birth and sacrifice of Ghatotkacha, Hidimbi’s love and suffering emerge as an unforgettable chapter of the Mahabharata—a story of a woman's history almost forgotten, yet who deserves to be remembered.
