At Zao, we call Palm Sunday Protest Sunday—because Jesus’s peaceful procession into Jerusalem was a bold political act, standing in direct opposition to the imperial show of Roman military power.This year, we’re leaning into that legacy.
Join us after church on Protest Sunday, starting at 1pm, for a 90-minute Peaceful Protest Training. Whether you’re new to faith in the streets, feeling unsure about protest, looking for a refresher, or simply showing up in solidarity—this space is for you.
Lunch is provided, and we’re thrilled to be partnering with our friends at First Unitarian Society of Milwaukee to make this happen.
