Join MV Community Care and the MV Freedom Fighters Monday March 23, at 6:30pm for a free, inclusive, and comprehensive introduction to how to protest safety and contemporary know your rights information.
Protest safety training educates activists on physical safety measures to minimize risks during demonstrations, your legal rights, and de-escalation techniques for common issues while demonstrating. This training comes from an inclusive and trauma informed perspective by a seasoned protest safety instructor
& two trained know your rights trainers.
A free vegan meal will be provided. Gas cards available to those in need.
WHAT IS COMMUNITY CARE?
We know that our ability to survive and thrive is based on radical acts of interdependence. Through monthly workshops and talks, we will build skills and knowledges that will make our communities safer and stronger. We seek to share these things in an inclusive, safe, non-judgemental, voluntary space where all are free to learn and share together.
