Everyone’s outrage is loud and clear! YOUR CHILDREN ARE NOT SAFE, and the judges that are handing out light sentences are only showing predators that their crimes are not taken seriously. It’s not fair that these predators get a slap on the wrist and a name on the registry while victims have to deal with trauma that will affect them for the rest of their lives! Unfortunately our voices on social media is not enough and I think it’s time to get loud! My friend and I have decided to organize a protest that will be taking place March 7th at 2pm. We will be doing it on the steps of the Bonneville County Courthouse, this area is no longer an entrance to the building. This will be a PEACEFUL protest, I don’t imagine there will be any counter protestors but if for some reason there is please make sure to ignore them and pretend that they are not there. Other things we need to be weary of is that we are NOT blocking any entrances to the building or to the parking lot and that we are NOT obstructing traffic. I was informed that protests should have an end time, I expect it to last at least an hour and will be wrapping things up and asking everyone to leave around the hour an a half mark. Bring your signs and let’s have a great protest!
