Protective Behaviours is a preventative, life skills program we teach to parents to enable their children to develop the skills needed to empower them to deal with personal safety issues in difficult, unsafe and abusive situations.
This course provides parents with a solid understanding of protective behaviours and how to teach your child to stay safe.
You will gain lots of practical strategies and activities to use with your children to heighten their awareness of their personal safety and to educate them about how to stay safe without scaring them.
You will learn...
* What are the real dangers to your personal safety
* How to recognise early warning signs
* Creating a safety network
* How to talk about 'public' and 'private' and why it is important.
* Personal space, strangers, secrets, and online safety
... and so much more
