Come join us for a lively town hall discussion on the critical issue of book bans and the importance of protecting our right to read! This town hall event will bring together authors, educators, community leaders, and book lovers to talk about the challenges of book censorship and its impact on today's society. Let's stand together to defend our freedom to explore diverse ideas and perspectives through literature.
Invited guests include: Sen. Laphonza Butler (CA), Rep. Maxwell Frost (FL), Del. Dana Jones (MD), Moms for Liberty, DC Public Library, and local authors
We will host a reception that begins at 5pm, followed by the town hall that begins at 6pm. See you at Busboys and Poets!
