Ian Abramson brings together LA's top comedians, artists, editors, and writers every month to celebrate, parody, pay homage, and just straight-up geek out over the movies they love.
Saturday April 22nd, we celebrate the hilariously absurd and subversive WILLY WONKA AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY. Grab your bed-ridden grandparents and join a hilarious group of movie nerds as we party like Oompa Loompas after hours. There will be sketch, standup, gameshows, trivia, prizes, and a puppet or two.
Plus, the night is DJ'd by none other than the amazing DJ Ama B, who'll spin candy-coated hits as well as movie-inspired songs all night. It's a show AND a party. And it's *somehow* FREE! Join us at Video Vortex inside the legendary Alamo Drafthouse in Downtown LA. Most of these movies don't have rides at Disneyland, but they DO get their own comedy shows at Alamo Drafthouse with @protectedunderparody
