About this Event
Join Fibi in a relaxed and reflective session, to explore together how we can use dollmaking to express our inner selves, and access complex notions of gender and queerness.
Participants will be equipped with materials, needle and thread and embellishments. We will be following a simple pattern, but expect to bring your own flair to your creation. All levels welcome!
The outcomes of this session will be recorded (with your consent!) and incorporated into a zine about queer embodiment and expression, to raise money for trans healthcare funds.
Tickets are FREE. Donations are optional, and will go towards supporting GAS.
More information about the organiser:
Fibi Cowley is an artist and puppeteer based in Glasgow. Inspired by hyper-imagination and counter-cultural mischief, Fibi draws on the legacy of puppetry as an outsider artform to disrupt and reimagine the ways in which we relate to the world around us.
