About this Event
Join us for the second event in this important public awareness series, organised by Dr Pinar Uysal-Onganer and Mykaell Riley, funded by Prostate Cancer UK. This year the focus is “Personalised Medicine – Are We There Yet?”. We will explore the latest advancements in tailored treatments for prostate cancer, bringing together an expert panel of clinicians, researchers, and patient groups.
Why This Matters
According to the CRUK. prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men, with over 55,000 new cases diagnosed each year in the UK—that’s more than 140 every day. One in eight men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime, the risk is even higher for Black men, at one in four. With over 12,000 deaths annually, improving early detection and developing personalised treatment approaches is more critical than ever.
Join us to learn, connect, and contribute to the conversation on improving outcomes for prostate cancer patients. Admission is free—join us and be part of the change!
