Prose Poetry: Writing Beyond the Line (Ages 16+) – Saturday, February 13 (10:30 am)
Explore the emotive power of metaphor at the meeting place of prose and poetry with instructor Kim E. Morgan, MA. In this workshop, we’ll look at how a paragraph can carry the imagery, rhythm, and compression of a poem. Through reading and writing exercises, we’ll experiment with ordinary moments, vivid details, and surprising associations to create prose that is lyrical, concise, and alive. Find us upstairs in the Nelson Room.
