In this session, Tracy Breece, Executive Director of Nursing Informatics at Mercy, will discuss how they are pioneering the future of nursing informatics at Mercy. Tracy Breece is a pioneering nurse informaticist with over 25 years of leadership experience. She leverages innovative technology to enhance nursing practice and patient care. Tracy’s unique blend of clinical expertise and digital proficiency enables her to drive transformative changes that improve healthcare outcomes and operational efficiency.
She is dedicated to mentoring future nurse informaticists and often guides nursing students in the integration of technology and leadership. Tracy holds a master’s degree in nursing with a focus on Healthcare Leadership, is ANCC board certified, and a Certified Professional in Health Information Management.
