Get your hands dirty and learn how to propagate your plants!
About this Event

In this workshop, you will learn how to cut your plants! Exciting, right? You’ll have the chance to get your hands dirty by propagating/dividing different herbs. Learn the basics of monitoring root health by inspecting plant cuttings at different stages of growth. Learn about the importance of various growing mediums. Participants will break into groups and work together. You will have the chance to take cuttings home and we hope that you'll keep us posted on their progress! All materials will be provided.

NOTE: All skill levels are welcome. Bring your own gardening or latex gloves if needed.

Saturday, February 21 from 10:00-11:30 a.m. Please note, this event is taking place during our annual Get The Jump On Spring event. A one-day garden extravaganza, bringing together plant lovers, expert growers, horticultural societies, and local eco-makers for a joyful, inspiration-packed kickoff to spring

Registration: Public $60, TBG Members $55 (plus applicable taxes and fees)

About Jess Conley

Jess Conley is a botanic jack-of-all-trades. She’s been a tree planter, a florist, an urban farmer, and an estate gardener. She studied Landscape Design, but she found her joy in tending life. One of her specialties, amongst many, is edible flowers. However, her palate is not limited to just flowers, she can often be found on the grounds sampling horticultural treasures such as maple samaras and paw-paw fruit.
