Propagation Nation is a series on how to propagate plants such as trees and shrubs.In this session we will cover specific plants appropriate to get started in mid-winter. We will take 30 minutes to review the basics of propagation and the equipment necessary before making cuttings.
Preparing and potting cuttings will take approximately 60 minutes and we will finish with a Master Gardener project.
Participants are encouraged to bring plant material that you want to propagate and learn by doing for a successful take-home. Some tree and shrub cuttings will also be available to expand the variety of your propagation efforts. Cost for the program is $20, which cover materials and propagation pots for tree, shrub or perennials you wish to root out.
