Come see how easy it is to propagate herbs from seeds and cuttings.
Montgomery County Master Gardeners Jim Russell and Rick Kirk work on the "Herbie" team in the greenhouse propagating herbs for plant sales and various other MCMGA programs. Jim holds Advanced MG certifications in both Herbs and Propagation and Rick holds an Advanced MG certification in Herbs.
This course will be a hands-on demonstration of successful propagation techniques and will include discussions about requirements for soil, watering, light and fertilization. Participants will take home the plants they start during the presentation. There will also be a free drawing for several hard-to-find herbs at the end of the class.
