Propagate & Celebrate is a free outdoor community gathering for plant lovers of all experience levels. Whether you're a seasoned gardener with a tray full of rooted cuttings or a curious beginner with a pot that needs dividing, you belong here.

What to expect:

🌱 Plant Swap. Bring cuttings, divisions, potted extras, or propagated plants you're ready to share. Seeds are welcome too. King's Landing Real Estate will provide plant labels so everything is clearly identified. To protect the Ritchey Woods ecosystem, please do not bring plants with seeds still attached, and all seeds must be contained or packaged before arriving. Not sure what you have? A plant ID helper will be on site to help you figure it out.

🌿 Propagation Demo. Learn how to propagate your favorite plants from local instructor Effie Eitel. Water propagation, soil propagation, dividing root-bound plants, and more. Practical skills you can take home and use the same day. Beginner friendly.

🌸 Bloom Bar. Create a small seasonal bouquet to take home. All registered guests receive a guaranteed stem at check-in. Remaining blooms go to the open bar after the propagation demo — first come, first served.

🍎 Mulled Cider. Warm up with a cup of seasonal mulled cider while you browse.

What to bring:

• Plants, cuttings, divisions, or potted extras to swap
• Seeds to swap (must be contained or packaged. No loose seeds or seed heads please, to protect the Ritchey Woods ecosystem)
• Your own clippers or garden scissors
• A box or bag to carry your new plants home
• A lawn chair for the demo session
