They said the truth was out there. Turns out it's at The Loose Tie on July 28.
Proof & Pints is a new monthly live PowerPoint night in St. John's where everyday people take the mic, fire up a slide deck, and present their case to a room full of strangers holding full pints. For our very first night, we're starting exactly where we should: conspiracy theories.
Six brave presenters will stand in front of a live audience and explain, with complete confidence and questionable evidence, why things are not what they seem. The moon landing. Birds. The deep state. Your neighbour. All of it is on the table.
The audience drinks, heckles affectionately, and votes for a winner at the end of the night. The most convincing presenter takes home a Loose Tie gift card.
How the night runs:
🚪 7:00PM — Doors open. Grab a pint and claim your seat.
🎤 7:30PM — First half: three presenters make their case.
🍺 8:15PM — Intermission. Refills. Recovery. Heated debate with your table.
🎤 8:30PM — Second half: three more theories enter the record.
🗳️ 9:15PM — Audience vote. Winner crowned. Gift card awarded.

Proof & Pints is a 19+ event. Valid ID required at the door. The Loose Tie is located at 14 George St, St. John's, NL A1C 1H7. Doors open at 7:00PM, presentations begin at 7:30PM sharp. Tickets are non-refundable. In the event of cancellation, ticket holders will be notified and refunded in full.
This event is a safe and inclusive space. Presentations must not contain racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, ableist, or otherwise hateful content.
