Prompted: An Improvised Concert & Community Experience

Prompted is an immersive evening of improvised music, reflection, and connection hosted by Quality Time Company and sponsored by Magic Cactus.

When you arrive, you’ll be invited to write down a thought, feeling, or longing on a slip of paper. These audience prompts become the “setlist.”

Throughout the evening, our featured musicians LVDY will draw from the hat and create one-of-a-kind songs in real time — songs born directly from the hearts in the room.

Quality Time Company is an alcohol-free collective that designs events to help foster meaningful connections. We are a queer-owned collective based in Chicago that is home to a thriving community of artists, entrepreneurs, LGBTQ+, and anyone looking for something more out of their community.

LVDY [pronounced LADY] is the Colorado-based duo of Kathleen Hooper and Aubrey Mable, creating music that moves, uplifts, and connects.

With roots in singer-songwriter and indie-folk, and a sound shaped by soaring harmonies and organic instrumentation, LVDY crafts songs that feel like home. In unison it’s almost unrecognizable who’s who, and in harmony, an effortless blend that welcomes the exhale.

Their uplifting sound and intimate storytelling weave love anthems in and out of their messages, with simple yet important reminders that we’re not alone.

After the concert, we’ll move into small group conversations guided by optional prompts, giving you the chance to connect more deeply with new friends.

This is more than a show. It’s a community experience you help create.
