Walk in the shoes of local people striving to survive in poverty. Learn and strategize with us to improve access to justice & housing.About this Event
You will be guided through an illuminating poverty simulation in the morning. We will then debrief, discuss, and brainstorm solutions tailored to our community.
A light lunch will be provided on site starting around noon. Subject matter experts will be available at different lunch tables to allow you to continue learning and conversing in small groups based on your interests.
After lunch a panel of housing experts will offer specifics about their work and answer your questions. For the last session, Attorney Cresston Gackle will present on the challenges people living in poverty face in the justice system.
