DAMSTREDET:
Join Josh Spear for a site-specific rendition of his one-man show, "How Now Brown Cow," set in a quiet house on Damstredet. This poignant performance features a prerecorded soundtrack that tells the story of a young boy who develops a stammer. Josh masterfully lipsyncs the lead role, using this technique to underscore the unreliability of the voice. He is accompanied by Anja Bibby, who embodies the female figures from his youth and introduce an unpredictable element to his reality. Together, they bring this deeply personal story to life in a uniquely intimate setting.
Inspired by his grandmother's tales and lessons learned in school, he adapts to his new reality. As he discovers his queer identity, he learns to camouflage and fit in, culminating in an awkward family dinner confrontation, a failed prom night tryst, and a heartfelt confession to a friend.
After the performance in the house, the audience will be led to Goldie near Damstredet.

Ann-Helen Schjølberg and Josh Spear will be the hosts of this evening
Ulf Nilseng is a distinctive and important voice in the Norwegian dance scene. As a choreographer, performer, and gender anarchist, he has for many years been creating art that can be characterized as Queer. With his company ULF, he continues to explore the body, dance, and ideas about freedom. He will perform both as Ulf and Lola.
Disco Loveless is the dreamy sonic embodiment of Ann-Helen Schjølbergs musical taste from her teenage years, but with grown up prosaic lyrics about underdogs, lost love and lost money.
Their singel "Taxes" (22) has been streamed more than 1,7 million times, and made it onto a Forbes (ES) list over top 25 songs about Taxes the last 75 years.
They will present both old and new music on this night.

Author Kjersti Anfnnsen will present the concept of Dj Saunasatan, an experimental exploration of the Kven identity under the slogan: "Ei saa peittää! Må ikke tildekkes!" It revolves around promoting visible diversity within both society and the individual. Dj Saunasatan curates the soundscape of the Cap of the North, a boundless sonic landscape that transcends genres, encompassing multiple ethnicities and languages, offering a vibrant, genre-defying, and diverse mix.
The event is produced by Svab Produksjoner and VoxLAB, with support from Kulturrådet, Fond for Utøvende Kunstnere, Oslo Kommune Kulturetaten, Dramatikkens Hus and The Marcus Thrust.
