Event for our special needs school aged children and their families. Focused on targeting social skills with others in the community. This is a charity event to fund our Special Education Summer Camp 2022.Project WE-R1 presents The Exceptional Social. This event is for our special needs school aged children and their families. This event is focused on targeting social skills with others in the community. The Exceptional Social is for families with an outlet for their own exceptional individuals living with them for some fun activities such as arts & crafts, gross & fine motor activities, games, music, etc. Project: WE-R1 wants to provide opportunities for families of children with special needs and disabilities to experience new activities in a stress-free and accepting space. In addition, Project: WE-R1 will provide resources and information for families, such as: Speech and Language Pathologists, ABA Therapists, Doctors, Psychologists, and much more. This event will be held October 16th, 2021, at Starr Park in the City of Forest Park, GA. All proceeds will go towards funding a special needs summer camp for June 2022 and obtaining and event space for ongoing community outreach. Rain or shine, non-refundable charity event.
