About this Event

Project Utopia is a community building workshop that embodies a powerful testament to the power of creativity and a shared dedication to forge a more sustainable and interconnected world.

Guest will be welcomed to participate in a space brimming with opportunities for creativity and education, all meticulously designed to foster stillness and recentering in your daily lives. The groundwork for this practice will empower the guest to delve into and engage with community support models, paving the way for mutual aid and enhanced collective well-being.

Partners include Monday for Wednesday, Lettuce Grow, and Simpli.

Program for the night includes:

  • Sound meditation using nature sounds as a grounding exercise
  • Agriculture tasting experience
  • Farmstand presentation
  • Seed paper letter writing station
  • Down to Earth discussion on nurturing healing and taking action to build new worlds facilitated through Loam's creative conversation deck of cards.

With site-specific programming, publishing, and radio broadcast, Field Meridians engages the Crown Heights community to lay the foundations for food sovereignty and infrastructures of repair in the heart of Brooklyn. Our work invests in designing relationships between humans and more-than-human collaborators, transmission through the Commons, and creative practice as pollination. Field Meridians is an extension of MOLD magazine, the critically acclaimed online and print magazine about design and the future of food.
