  • The exhibition cum sale will feature a diverse range of crafts from the nooks and crannies of India - from Kutchi carpets Pattu weaving of Rajasthan Tollubommalatta leather puppet craft Lambani embroidery Patua & Kalighat paintings Andhra Silver Filigree jewelry & accessories Kolhapuri chappals Ajrakh to textiles from Assam & Nagaland Shola flowers and handmade eco-friendly hyacinth products from the North East - you will see it all here!


  • Each stall is thoughtfully designed to bring out the best within each craft and tell a story: life-size display systems suspended textile panels that bring alive stories from their makers and give context to the products demo looms collaborative products as examples of usage to appease the imagination.


  • Equipped with a Shola headdress a Naga Shawl Lambani jewelry the photo booth is designed for to encourage you to not just click memories with these diverse cultural adornments but also directly engage with their makers. 


  • A first of its kind gifting table will display items curated from across the products available from the exhibiting artisans housed in banana fiber gift boxes giving you a chance to curate your own Diwali gifts! 


  • Participate in out workshops to have a real hands-on experience of crafting with love!


  • The event has performances community art and talks to celebrate handmade in a truly immersive way.



About the Organizers:

 

PROJECT TARASHA-

Project Tarasha a pandemic-born social initiative by Titan Company Ltd. brings craftspeople from nooks and crannies of the country to the fore. It facilitates craftpreneurs and groups to create their own micro websites and reach customers directly. Before the initiative some of these award-winning craftsmen and women had never even navigated the online space! 


CREATIVE DIGNITY-

Creative Dignity is a volunteer-led movement that has brought together diverse creative producers practitioners and professionals to energise the ecosystem that Indian artisans need in this time of COVID-19 and post-COVID-19 impact. By keeping artisans at the core of every initiative CD’s goal is to enable artisans to become equal and active participants in building a thriving ecosystem where they have the agency to thrive with dignity.


MUDITA MAKERS -

Anshu Arora Oriole Henry and Prithi Pais are based in Bengaluru and have come together to create the Mudita Makers. They are leveraging their collective experience in the field of design and retail to collaborate with artisans in India. Mudita is a Sanskrit word that means unselfish joy and was chosen as the name to represent the joy created by supporting India’s artisans.
