Project Playhouse is an opportunity to empower our future leaders. Having a safe place to play is important for every child. A playhouse is one of the first opportunities a child has to imagine what having a home of their own means to them.Project Playhouse donations not only give children a space to call their own, the funds raised from the event directly support building more affordable homes in Central Texas through Fort Hood Area Habitat for Humanity.
We are inviting sponsored teams of volunteers to assemble and decorate children’s playhouses, which are then donated to deserving Central Texas families. Volunteers work together on tasks such as putting up the walls, shingling the roof, or attaching the playhouse trim. Once assembled, teams can show off their creativity by decorating each playhouse to fit the likes and interests of the child receiving the playhouse.
