Recalling the golden words of Nirankari Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj, "Pollution inside or outside, both are harmful," the Sant Nirankari Mission has been motivated to engage in various socio-charitable activities for numerous years. This profound wisdom has inspired a long-term commitment to conserving and protecting the environment.In August 2021, under the divine guidance of Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj, the Sant Nirankari Mission launched an ambitious project titled "Oneness Vann." This Mega Project aimed to protect and restore the environment through the planting of micro and mini forests, referred to as "clusters of trees." These clusters were not only planted but also maintained for the next three to five years to ensure their growth and sustainability. Across India, 317 such sites were identified, and 130,000 saplings were planted in the first phase.
The success of the project in its first year fueled its expansion. With continued blessings from Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj, the Oneness Vann initiative entered its second and third phases in August 2022 and 2023, respectively. These efforts led to the establishment of additional sites, bringing the total number of sites to 503. By the end of the third phase, 185,000 trees had been planted and were under active maintenance across the nation.
The Oneness Vann project stands as a testament to the Sant Nirankari Mission's dedication to environmental stewardship. Each planted sapling symbolizes a step towards a greener, healthier planet, embodying the mission's core values of unity and compassion for all living beings.
As the year 2024 unfolds, the mission's commitment to environmental conservation remains steadfast. With the blessings of Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj, new and larger clusters will be added to the Oneness Vann project. On August 11, 2024 (Sunday), these new sites will be inaugurated, further expanding the initiative's reach and impact.
