Kat Duma is a Serbian-Canadian music producer, multi-instrumentalist, and singer based in Toronto. Her genre-fluid sound blends ethereal textures, dub-inspired rhythms, and experimental pop structures. Drawing on classical training in violin and voice, she creates emotionally driven, layered compositions
marked by unexpected instrumentation and textural richness.
Her debut album Real Life (2023) received praise from outlets like Dazed, Wonderland, and Clash for its emotional depth and distinct sound. As a DJ, she’s recorded sets for NTS Radio, Crack Magazine, TANK Magazine, and The Lot Radio. She has performed across North America and Europe at festivals and venues including MUTEK, POP Montreal, and NXNE, and has opened for artists such as Yves Tumor, Tirzah, and Lust for Youth.
