Summer might be coming to an end, but September’s arrival means MIX COPENHAGEN 2024 is ready to kick off! 🔥🔥
We are thrilled to finally share this year’s program which includes amazing films, events and parties, marking 39 years of showcasing the best in contemporary queer cinema.

In a working-class area of Sweden, sisters Laura (16), Mira (12) and Steffi (7), get by on their own, left to their own devices by an absent mother. With summer on the way and no parents around, life is wild and carefree, vivacious and anarchic. But when social services call a meeting, Laura has to find someone to impersonate their mom, or the girls will be taken into foster care and separated. Laura keeps the threat a secret, so as not to worry her younger sisters. But as the moment of truth draws closer, new tensions arise, forcing the three sisters to negotiate the fine line between the euphoria of total freedom and the harsh realities of growing up.

𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗕𝗿𝘂𝘀:
In an old iron foundry and locomotive factory in Copenhagen, Brus made the engines start running again. Brand new brewing facilities, speciality products, bar buzz and a kitchen team, are breathing new life into the old warehouse, a 750 m2 raw building with activities ranging from brewing, kegging, cooking, shopping, dining and drinking. It all comes together in quality, science, experiments and functionality to create a playful venue for beer-lovers, microbrewers and hungry souls who fancy some socializing city life.
𝗩𝗲𝗻𝘂𝗲 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆:
Empire Bio has a step-free entrance. Theaters 1, 2, and 3 contain a wheelchair platform in the middle of the hall's front row. See also their website for a more detailed overview.
Unfortunately, the wheelchair spaces cannot be purchased online, so if you want to buy a ticket on their website, you have to buy one of the seats next to the wheelchair space. When you arrive at Empire Bio, you should go to the box office to arrange the necessary assistance to enter the theater.
Wheelchair-accessible toilets are available.
Brus is located on the ground floor with manual doors. The spacious layout ensures that most wheelchair users can move around comfortably. If you need assistance with the doors, the friendly staff is happy to help. There are wheelchair-accessible toilets on the main floor, as well as gender neutral ones.
