Program for Homeschoolers at Tucson Village Farm

Hello Homeschoolers! April 3, 2026, will be our final Homeschool Friday of this school year at Tucson Village Farm. This program has been such a success, thanks to this amazing community. Thank you all for your involvement and support. We are looking forward to growing our offerings and welcoming you all back next Fall.

This time, our day will begin with a trip to the barn to see the goats and the NEW chicken run (Our baby chicks got big enough to move in!). From the barn, we will head over to the veggie fields to harvest some of what is in season right now. After we wash our freshly-picked produce, we will head into the TVF Teaching Kitchen to prepare a delicious farm-to-table lunch. TVF educators will provide recipes, ingredients, and nutrition information as well as demonstrate proper knife skills and cooking techniques to keep you as safe as possible. Our recent "African Cooking Series" is the inspiration for this cooking class. We will be guided by Pacific and Emile, our resident experts on African cooking in the TVF kitchen. Get ready to taste new flavor combinations and learn some quick and easy dishes that you can make at home.

All parents are welcome to stay. Children MUST be accompanied by an adult if they are under 8 years old. If your child is 8 or older, you may drop them off if we have all 3 signed University of Arizona required liability waivers. (See FAQs for forms)
