For acceptance in 2027-2028 Music & Theatre Arts Programs, students must successfully complete a music audition and be accepted into an applied studio.

All audition dates for acceptance in 2027-28:
-November 7th, 2026 (wind, brass, & percussion only)
-January 20th, 2027
-February 13th, 2027
-March 6th, 2027
Program auditions (auditions to become a music major/minor) are separate from ensemble auditions, which are available to all students seeking to be in a band, choir, or orchestra. Our theatre majors (other than musical theatre), theatre minors, and certificate programs do not require an audition and may be declared at any time.
Registration for any given audition date closes two weeks prior to the audition - please be sure to register for your audition by this deadline so that we can guarantee you a spot. Online audition applications open on September 15 each year.
