Are you a Senior or Ambassador Girl Scout and want to earn your CIT I/II Award? Or a Cadette Girl Scout and interested in the Program Aide Award? As a Program Aide/CIT, you can serve as a champion for the Girl Scout Leadership Experience (GSLE). You can help make girls aware of Girl Scouts' mission to deliver fun with a purpose, enjoyable and challenging activities supporting girls' leadership in their daily lives and the world.
To earn your Program Aide or CIT Award, you must complete the training and work directly with younger girls through Resident or Troop camps in the summer. CITs must at least currently be in the 9th grade and have received their Program Aide Award or have completed one Cadette Journey. If not, they will go through the PA training first. PAs must at least currently be in the 6th grade and have completed one Junior Journey.
Check-in for this overnight training begins at 7:00 pm; please eat dinner before coming to camp. Breakfast and lunch are included.
