Join National Gallery artist educators for a full-day professional learning program at Geelong Gallery, Wadawurrung Country, Victoria.
The program includes creative learning strategies for engaging with work from the National Collection, with a special focus on Claude Monet, Meules, milieu du jour [Haystacks, midday].
This session is informed by the National Gallery Gallery's Creative Learning Approach , centering the voice of the artist and including multimodal ways to engage with works of art through creative learning strategies.
This session is open to early learning, primary, secondary, and tertiary educators, and other youth and arts professionals. Educators are also invited to use National Gallery learning resources and online programs to engage before or after the session.
National Gallery artist educators will workshop approaches for engaging with works of art through active creative learning strategies, that support learners to make personal connections to works of art and share stories and ideas through an inquiry-led approach.
A verifiable digital certificate will be delivered to each attendee with 5.5 continuing professional development (CPD) hours.
