Do you have a professional headshot? Would you like one?Winnipeg Circus Club board member, Xaq Freeman, has generously offered to host a workshop designed to send participants home with a high resolution headshot. The idea was birthed in response to our upcoming 11th Annual Showcase Fundraiser and the classic struggle to compile high resolution photos of our performers for the program. We encourage all Showcase performers to sign up! We would love to show your best side in our program and know that it can be trickier than expected sometimes to source a photo like this when the time comes.
The workshop is open to all, with a priority given to those who have volunteered to perform in the Showcase this year. Thank you to those who have stepped up!
Regular Specialty Workshop pricing is in effect and that means $10 in advance and $15 on the day at the door-while space is left! On that note, we will be opening up the opportunity to tip our good pal Xaq so that participants who can and feel so inclined can top him up for his high level services.
On the day: we are still working out how to structure the day but PLEASE consider that we have limited time and want to get as many folks through as we can. What you can do to help this process is to arrive ready to go at 1PM-that means hair, makeup, wardrobe-however you wish to present yourself-is all where you want it to be and you are ready for your turn. This is during regular practice time so you are welcome to practice and play until your slot is up! Thank you in advance for helping the day run smoothly.
