The Loc Den Natural Hair Salon is hosting a private (small group) Loctician Training Workshop in Missouri City (Greater Houston Area) on March 26th & 27th from 10 AM to 3 PM!
Experience hands on lessons with Master Loctician Shenate’ Lamar (Owner of The Loc Den) working with high-quality 4C Afro Kinky Mannequin Heads in addition to real dreadlock models to cultivate and improve your valuable dreadlock practitioner skills!
Locticians are in high-demand as dreadlock hairstyles become more and more popular throughout the world! Investing in Loctician skills could lead to a plethora of lucrative future working opportunities!
Learn from dreadlock experts with decades of experience, who’ve mastered dreadlock services for various hair types!
Our private workshops are limited in size to ensure each student receives quality attention.
Day 1 (Sun. March 26th) features the Beginner and Intermediate Level Workshop.
Beginner Workshop Includes:
- Starter Locs with comb coils, two Strand Twists, Braid Locs & interlocking.
- Loc maintenance with palm roll, interlocking & care to ensure clients hair is healthy and growing.
- Basic styling (cornrows, fishtail styles, & up-dos).
Intermediate Workshop Includes:
- Braiding Locs and interlocking maintenance
- Advanced styling techniques
- Two and three in one styling
- Repairs and reconstruction
- Wrapped Loc Extensions with Human Hair
Day 2 (Mon. March 27th) features the Advanced Level Workshop.
Advanced Level Workshop Includes:
- All Crochet services on Kinky, Curly, & Straight hair textures
- Instant Loc Cultivation
- Crochet Loc Extensions
- Repairs on all textures

All Loctician supplies and complimentary lunch will be provided by The Loc Den Salon!
Each Workshop Day is a total of 5 hours of official training, with additional time for practice and questions following the formal instruction session.
