Do you want to get more from your block?
During this workshop Shani from Ecoburbia will cover basic food gardening tips –from creating healthy soil and growing from seed, to what to plant when and how to fertilise . She’ll also demonstrate simple preserving methods, including making jams and relishes, water-bath canning and solar drying.
Finally, she’ll explore whether backyard animals could be right for you.
Come and see just how productive your home can be - saving food miles, carbon emissions and money on your food bills.
