Production Assistant Workshop

You will l earn essential skills required to work as a professional PS on film and television productions, such as - walkie-talkie lingo, lock-ups, building video village, managing background talent, and much more with Josh Ellis!

Bio: Josh Ellis is a former Los Angeles-based IATSE Local 600 camera assistant. He is originally from Seattle, Washington, and teaches film production at Miami Dade College in Miami, Florida. Josh also runs production assistant boot camps in partnership with several South Florida film commission offices. In 2021 he published his first book, The Student Filmmaker Survival Guide. He enjoys making movies, watching movies, and talking about making and watching movies.
