Info: Lunch is included with your ticket. We'll walk over together from Kali HQ to Brews Brothers Brewpub on W. Olive Ave (about a half mile away). Brews Brothers is the work of brothers Billie and Joey, who spent nearly two decades inside LA's craft beer scene and brewed over 240 batches of homebrew before opening their own spots across the Valley. The Burbank brewpub is their working brewhouse, where the beer is made on-site and the kitchen runs on smokehouse discipline. Good food, great beer, and a chance to decompress with the rest of the room before the afternoon mixing workshop.

Immersive Mixing Workshop
Host: Joe Rickard
Info: After lunch, Joe Rickard moves the room from theory into practice. This is the hands-on portion of Day 2, where Joe sits down at the desk and walks through the actual process of building an immersive mix from the ground up in both Dolby Atmos and Sony's 360 VME.
You'll see how he sets up a session, how he places objects vs. bed tracks, how he handles drums, vocals, guitars, bass, and effects in three-dimensional space, and how he checks his work for binaural and headphone translation. Every move gets explained out loud as he makes it, so you understand not just what he's doing, but why.
Bring questions. Q&A immediately after.

Producing YOUR songs with Howard Benson VIP Song 1
Host: Howard Benson
Info: This is the moment we've all been waiting for. Howard works on each VIP song live, in person, in front of the room, with one full hour dedicated to each artist.
These sessions aren't lectures. They're real conversations. Howard listens, breaks down what's working and what isn't, and walks through exactly what he'd do to turn the song into a hit, from arrangement and performance to production and mix decisions. The artist is part of the conversation throughout: Howard asks about the vision behind the track, the artist asks about Howard's choices, and the rest of the room gets to watch a producer and an artist actually work together in real time.
Even if it isn't your song on the desk, this is some of the most valuable time in the entire weekend. You'll see how a producer of Howard's caliber thinks about a song he's hearing for the first time, and how those decisions get made in collaboration with the artist, not handed down to them.
