Join us on Thursday, March 27th to taste some maple syrup and learn what is happening in our region from the PMRC team. Waffle Party Porter will be pouring, made with Grade A Dark Robust maple syrup from the Proctor Maple Research Center. ?This month, our Green State for Good program is supporting Proctor Maple Research Center and $1 from every Green State Lager poured at our beer hall during the month of March will go directly to their organization.
PMRC builds on a tradition of more than 100 years of maple research at the University of Vermont and is the oldest research center in the world that is dedicated to the study of maple. Established in the 1940s by Governor Mortimer Proctor on the western slopes of Mt. Mansfield in Underhill, Vermont, it performs scientific research and strives to inform maple producers and enhance maple sugaring. The maple tree has roots in everything they do, and they are dedicated to contributing to the practical and scholarly knowledge required for the success of the maple community through research, outreach, and education.
