Large Papier-Mâché Puppets and Sculptures (2 Sessions : March 22 and 29th 1-3 pm)

Roll up your sleeves and get into the goopy fun of papier-mâché. Learn the basics that can then be transformed into a large mask or puppet. We will show a variety of techniques for backpack puppets, large hollow masks, and larger puppet armatures, design, and construction.

Schedule:

• Day 1: 1-3pm (3/22): Bring ideas of what you might want to make and we will help you design and troubleshoot your creation! You can get started on your piece if your design is ready.
• Day 2: 1-3pm (3/29): Exploration of methods to wear/carry/finish your design. Bring your piece to work on and get feedback on any areas where you have questions.

Dress to get messy.

Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
