Experience a multitude of art supplies to play with: experiments in mark-making and textures!
Our project: Jacqueline will guide students in making a large free-style painting on watercolour paper: with emphasis on no-stress spirited expressiveness. A wide variety of paints, gels, sticks, pencils, scraping tools, & brushes will be made available: like kids in a candy store, we will be pushing our limits with art supplies.
We’ll then be cutting up our painting into smaller paintings, looking for interest & happy-places, examining principles of composition & colour, while discovering pieces of ourselves.
Optional project (which we’ll continue in subsequent classes) is the beginnings of a personal ART JOURNAL, made from these segments.
This class is for all skill levels and abilities, a fun and loose abstract journey.
All materials are provided
Please wear studio appropriate clothing
