Kicking off with a lo-fi DJ set at 7pm, Jayvier will take to the stage at 7.45 to talk about how the AI future looks from his perspective as a 16 year old JC student who is losing out to classmates that know less but use AI more.
Is it fair for them to meet academic requirements but retain none of the learning? Is the performance of knowledge more important than the retention and usage of it? And what about relationships? In an age of sycophantic chatbots how are they developing the social skills required to succeed in a world filled with real people - or does it no longer matter?
Jayvier founded Youths for Humans with seven friends at Victoria JC and is ruffling feathers by questioning the doctrine of an increasingly AI obsessed nation and education system.
